hi have you notices that most people get into this fetish by imagining woman inflating in some sort of uniform.
I've noticed that uniforms with out buttons will look good inflated eg SUBWAY STORES,
For me the school uniform is what got me started.
Also, the thorntons uniform looks hot.

I second this. I still have a major weakness for women in tight, button-down uniforms, and straining buttons in general.

I think it's just coincidence. Uniforms are kind of kinky anyway, and a lot of them have lots of buttons and regalia that work well for inflation.
I don't think the two are related, much less one leads to the other. I myself love straining and popping buttons, but the only "uniform" that really has any bearing on inflation for me is an all-blue outfit with a red belt.

I think there is a sort of connection for me in my early stages, because that was coupled with me just loving a woman's torso, above the navel. The straining buttons were a tease so that part would be revealed. I believe in a connection for me because of me, with time, starting to like the torso of increasingly chubbier women (ergo, increasingly tight clothes).
Maybe that was for a proto-inflationist thing, that developed into something more complex and outrageous with my exposition to cartoons.

The costume designer for the 1971 WONKA movie used a pleated look for Violet's outfit. That helped "define" her spherical shape, where something stretchable would have been nothing more than a blob of color on screen. Many uniforms have panels, darts and pleats (and sometimes belts) that complement the figure, or in the case of women, appear tight when they are no more than form-fitting. Buttons and seams give the eye something to follow.

my favourite uniforms are scrubs, chef outfits and clown costumes. the scrubs have bright colours and patterns that stand out and look awesome when stretched and inflated. the buttons on the chef outfits are a good point for spacing apart and stretching along with the seams and pockets on the inflatee. and the clown costumes are a mixture of both, with added belts and buttons and frilly sleeves/collars. plus, the loose fitting one piece design along with the 2 piece makes it all the better to inflate in. the wig and make-up also add to the effect by giving you a comical look and can create cool ideas for scenarios.
the colour royal blue really stands out for me, also with the buttons and red belt mainly thanks to violet's outfit. it really set off a wide variety of similar outfits/dresses/suits that interest me.
