I highly recommend http://www.balloonlovers.com/ -- they go back with the inflation community a long time, and I have ordered several times from them. They specialize in very large balloons and European latex balloons. And they will not ask you uncomfortable questions. :)

You can get huge balloons pretty cheap on ebay, I have several weather balloons/cloudbusters that can easily fill a room.
Look on eBay. As long as they are larger latex balloons they get huge. I've had good luck with 36" or larger and doubling them up makes them twice as resilient. I think I paid about 5 or 6 dollars apiece for mine though I can't remember who I bought them from.
