Collaborative writing vs RPs

I guess such a topic existed before, but no matter.

Well, first of all general RP is collaborative writing already. Two people are creating a story together. But there are a lot of bounds and flaws like:
1) Be online and have free time simultaneously. If one has to attend other duties, the other has to wait.
2) Only adding new text, not editing old.
3) Plot has to be relatively easy, and conclusion (inflation/pop) must come quickly. Because night is short and people have to sleep too.
4) Decorations are often primitive, no beautiful descriptions, thinking on the right adjectives et.c. well everything is schematic except feeling of players. It may be fun, but then it makes RPs similar. No uniqueness.
5) NSFW. Chatting in the instant messengers attracts unwanted attention.
6) in 99% cases only two participants. Difficult to include NPC (non player characters) because it takes much time and thinking to write for two or more people.

So, how about some kind of collaboration story? It can be done through email.
Say: you receive mail, edit current story adding paragraph or two, doing fixes if you think thats needed, or even interspersing existing text with new sentences. Example: card game, say poker or black-jack losers inflate huh. One person gets losing card and describes his/her blow up till exploding.
You (other person) can add what did you see, said and thought right inside that text. Not after it. And this makes sense. If girl has already popped, depicting your thoughts on her plumping belly and bust is a bit too late. ^^
Fixes and comments can be italicized to distinguish them from rest of text.
Other possible ways: PMs on this site, but it is not possible to send them to multiple co-participants.
Online via shared text editors. My favorite is "Google Docs" fairly easy and powerful

Thoughts?

And already an idea/invitation/advertisement.

The scenery is "vampair mansion", posted it before in RP ideas.
Basically: our party splits, those who want their character to inflate and pop, and those who don't mind deflating - feeding their air to former.
Probably, we'll need many deflatee NPCs as it takes lots of air to satiate one vampair girl.

Schematically: we go to excursion into old mansion, where some of us (inflatees) are bitten by some thing. What would it be is still a question. Bat-balloon :D ? We all are surprised, but still go on ... until affected start to turn to rubbery-squeaking sexy horrors and attack others sucking air from their victims instead of blood. Vampairs are crazed and cannot contain the urge to suck air blowing themselves bigger bigger and finally BANG.

Deflating to me is becoming skinny, limp and finally flopping on the floor as a helpless empty rubbery shell. Vampairs are filled with air yet strong and swift. But that both points are up to discussion.

We can arrange it by email for the first try, I think

wonderful idea. may be interested.

Well....interesting.

Want to try? It doesn't bite, I think.

4 - 5 players would be enough. Plus to main character, everybody can take one NPC to write his/her speech.
Well, again, we need deflatees to supply vampairs.

I expect it to drain about 20 minutes daily to write your part (and part of your NPC). Then send modified story to everyone playing as copies.

Though, there can be problem if two people edit story simultaneously and each sends his/her own version creating mess. AFAIC Google allows merging in such case, with simple emails it can be problem

Google Docs allows you to share documents with multiple people, and everyone can edit them simultaneously. You can see everyone else's edits in real time and even see where their cursor is at any given moment.

I know. I even noted that in my first post. But yet I know that many people don't have google account and are reluctant to try new software.

Well. My cast of characters:

Eugen Locks. Actually young man or grown up boy, he is around 22. Average height, but he is wide and, well, pumped. Bodybuilder type. He is overconfident 'touch guy', at least he thinks so.

Second char: Liza, girlfriend of Eugen. It is he, who talked him into excursion to old aristocratic mansion. He wasn't very eager to go, so she hinted that he is scared by rumors of curse (acting like a good bait for tourists)
She's plump. But Eugen is ok with it, as she has stunning curves. Interested in history and various antiquities.

Hint. Both characters are supposed to deflate, surrendering their air to vampairs. Thats why they are big.

Ok, my main character, is well, me.
Amanda Migliore 29 5'10, approx 140. Shapely yet athletic. Shoulder length brown hair, green eyes. Dresses very well in a professional fashion. Corporate yuppie type, sort of cold in an accounting sort of way.

my NPC is Leslie Baker, 6'1 170. Sort of a big girl, jockette (even more than I am :)) but very fit and a little too shapely to have a shot as a professional athlete. Long blonde hair, blue eyes, sense of humor and joy of life, laughs big.

Oooookay, I hope I don't screw this up! Let me know what's next.

Should we start already, or wait for more participants?

Looks like we are going to play via email. So would be cool to see emails, not only chars.

The even has started, and goes well. Others still have time to join, though.
