I was watching The Doctors and they started off talking about bizarre medical cases, like people who had to have 40 pieces of cutlery removed from their stomach, or had a 10 pound hairball. And then they got to this guy.
Now, your first reaction is probably "That's a bad case of gynecomastia." But he actually suffers from lipodystrophy, which leads to fat being deposited in various places. In his case, his breasts. So as he would gain weight he'd gain it all on his breasts. Did a little more researching and a similar phenomenon can occur after liposuction. If a woman has just her midsection lipo'd, any weight gain would occur in areas where there are still fat cells (i.e. breasts and butt.)
So anyways, just thought I'd throw this out there as it seems like a great story idea. (i.e. lipoing a woman everywhere except for her breasts and then putting her on a high calorie diet and her breasts grow huge.)
Well. If it is true, then I wonder why this is still not the very common practice IRL
