this is my best theory so far.
pleas don't laugh to hard.
I'm pretty sure its part genetic.
I think there mite be a trigger that activates the gene for this fetish in later generations.
I think it mite be something that happened to one of Your ancestors with in the past 4 or 5 generations,
In a nut shell its something like
a person (not having this fetish)
was hit so hard (lucky to be alive)
there grand children (not yet conceived)
felt it (was bourn with this fetish) .

I know that my parents are probably sorta semi-aware (long story) that I have some pretty strange fantasies, but still I keep it to myself and never share this stuff with anyone.
Regardless if they have their own fetish's, I don't know and I wouldn't want to. Everyone's got their skeletons, as I put it.

Another way of doing this might be to look for geographical clusters. I know at least two other people on the internet with this who are from the same city as my family (though i'm not from there).
The other thing is, they may not have exactly the same thing but they might have something similar, say macrophilia, fat admiration or being into latex. You might be able to tell a fat admirer from their choice of partner and nobody would have to say anything.

Fair enough, but what if it could be done anonymously? If it turned out that there was a big concentration in a particular area it could become the Inflation Capital Of The World, we could all move there and start up inflation-related businesses or something :-) .

My attitude is it has more to do with body chemistry, rather than genetics.
Like being gay, it's "most likely" not passed on like baldness or blond hair. More just the way the bodies chemistry pieced itself together during the process of being created in the womb.
There maybe more unlying factors such as having a large mother/father that you feel comfortable to look at. (Feeling safe).
But, that aside. It's a fetish, there are many reasons why it could be appealing (humiliation, Bondage/restriction) etc etc. But why you like it? Just the way you where created. Doubtful Uncle John has the same interest. If he does, i'd put it down to coincidence.

I think sexual fantasies has nothing to do with genes.
Must be what you experienced as a child and what you saw and experienced when you grew up and came to puberty.
For me it started with Inspector Gadgets inflatable coat. In the beginning it was nothing sexual about it, I just was fascinated by it. But for some reason I wanted to keep it a secret.
When I reached pubirty I fantacied about women getting inflated in suits. Thats how it started for me
just collecting data to try and figure out what causes this inflation/expansion fetish.
Iv got a lot of theories on this.
I just want to narrow it down to the ones that mite be right before I make a fool of my self again.
