8-12ft Inflation Suit project

Ive been wanting to make a bigger suit for awhile since my original one seems to be a success on deviantArt and YouTube, and I'm considering making a much larger one, which would make use of either an 8ft or 12ft ball. Until I get the funds to make one of them though (which will be through donations most likely due to the price tag), I wanted to know if anyone out there had any comments or suggestions to give. I'm really looking forward to blowing up to my dream size anyways :)

Will you make it so it will be a full suit? Legs, arms and chest aswell?

Hi my name is Tom. I run the inflatable chicks yahoo group

I would really like to, but then that would mean destroying the beach ball in the process :/

try this instead:

Get a lycra suit (nude color) sewn in the dimensions you wish. Then, once you are inside it, slip in a large weather balloon in white or natural latex color and slowly inflate it. Reach inside to unfurl the balloon as it grows and to work out folds and creases, so it conforms to the shape of the suit. dust the ballon down with talcum powder to prevent it from sticking and getting creased.

With care and planning you can obtain stunningly satisfying hourglass inflation this way.

Main disadvantage is that the old surplus balloons that are cheap ($25 for a 6-foot diameter, which is just about right) are also extremely thin, very easily torn, and impossible to repair.

I've researched weather balloons before, and from what ive found almost all of them are rather frail. And I'm looking for something thats really durable, such as a beach ball. With past inflations I've found beach balls to be rather useful, because you can wrap them around your torso when uninflated, then as you start to blow air into it, they start to fill out.

Frail they are- best to use under another garment- but very compliant and soft. Fun, until they develop leaks! -latecomer

Yeah. I also have a slight phobia to balloons due to the amount of noise they make when they pop, so I'm trying to avoid them.
