Unfortunately, the previous venue for furry inflation (Cerine's Furry Inflation Pages) appears to have been abandoned, and it hasn't updated in years.
I'm a furry (one of the rare, quiet, non-sex crazed, moderate ones). I also happen to be an inflation fan, CGI artist, author (of non-inflation material), and .NET hack...
I usually don't announce my presence, unless asked, because usually, It doesn't apply to whatever site I'm on that isn't furry, like here...

I hear you there! People just don't get it. Which, [starts to laugh] is ironic, considering the PuRpOsE of this site, which is to bring a specific group of 'rejects' together, to feel normal. It just sickens me that the humans beg for shelter inside this cushy lil' mansion and then give us the 'one in the middle' because we've got fur and a tail.
So, not only non-furry oriented, but borderline anti-furry. The only anthro inflation pics you see here anymore is from randomization.

Honestly, no, I don't think furries really belong here. Atleast, not to the extent that you guys may want. Maybe linking the odd cartoon or relevant artwork is fine. But, you have Furaffinity, covered in inflation art.
There used to be inflationation a dedicated forum to furry inflationists. It died once FA came on the seen. Someone tried to keep it going, but as I said. A furry inflation forum isn't really needed with FA about these days.
You want forums, go make a new one or revive inflationation.
I say keep this place for human inflation media as intended. The furry thing is irellivant here. You already have many big mediums hosting plenty of furry inflation art, stories and movies. You don't need to take over this one.

Agreed! All this started cause I was telling another furry that they wouldn't find furry stuff on this site. This is for human inflation, and the other forum is for furries. I know some of us are kinda crazy, but furries don't have to invade every site they find. we're like alien invaders or something, like zombies! "we will infect your site with our fuzzy butts!" some stuff is better to leave how it was designed. I really don't want trouble guys, I'd prefer not to get kicked off this site.

Yeah, that's what I was planning. Im starting another topic letting all of us know that there's a better site for us out there, and that this place isn't here, so, "let's go find it!" The original idea was to at least make this an o.k furry area, the equivalent of a dude at a party advertising a much cooler one, so we just go to it without anyone noticing and rock out over there. The key here is inflation.
As long as it's not just straight-up furry porn with no inflation, it has a place here. Maybe in an art category of its own. I remember BigHorse's art was really excellent, and that sometimes involved furries. I'm not into that stuff myself, but if a woman is good at taking on the contents of a helium tank I will happily overlook her cat ears.

I'd say no. There's the furry circle and the inflation circle. There is that section that overlaps that is the inflatable furry people. The furry community/circle is much, much larger than the inflation community/circle. Thus, the furry community is better off to accommodate the furry inflationists than the inflationist community. I've seen it happen at other sites where when a related fetish is included, the new group tends to overwhelm the orginal community and content, turning off the original members who end up leaving.
If this site were to include furry inflationists, I'd hope that in the various parts of the board, there's a section just for them so those that don't care for furries don't have to wade through numerous posts, pics, stories about furries.

I'd say you really need to think about the way you said this ... we're people too, and I don't think it's right to tell someone (other than underage, obviously) that they're not allowed to join a site. Saying "no furries" on a site these days would be (pardon the extreme comparison) like having a "whites only" water fountain. The question should be "are furry topics allowed" and not "are furry people allowed".

Looooong time lurker, first time poster. Well said, airtank. While there are unique ideas and a goodly amount of talent in the furry community, this place has its own niche, one that's been well run and well vetted regarding content up to this point. If there is that demand for content, that demand should be fulfilled and served elsewhere. However, I realize I'm merely a purveyor and not a site admin, so whatever is deemed best by the powers that be is good enough for me. It won't stop me from revisiting this site.

I'd give you a definite "yes" on that and i'm not even slightly into furry stuff. I think they go particularly well together though because they are both cartoony for a lot of people, and i would expect many people to have discovered both fetishes about the same time if they watched inflations of furry characters in animation or comics. I happen to be working on a furry story from a mainstream perspective right now.

This poll is nonsensical, therefore the ensuing discussion us pointless.
Long Version:
Nobody's ever been kicked out of this site for being a furry. Nobody's ever been punished or censored for discussing furries here. And as far as I can recall, nobody here has been subjected to "haters' insults" for being a furry.
So it's not a question of whether furries are welcome here. They're here already, and nobody's suggesting that I remove them. Persecution complexes, however, are certainly not welcome.
If anyone cares to discuss/debate/suggest site policies regarding furries based on what actually happens here, I'm happy to do so. But I would suggest starting another thread for it.

The story in question might have been rejected if it was a furry story without inflation. It seems odd to me that the OP initiated a debate and then suggested people PM them with responses rather than discuss them openly. Normally I would have read no further but I'm always interested to see what Luther has to say when he weighs in in these 'mass debates' if you'll forgive the crude wordplay.
Personally I don't think there is a debate to be had on whether any person or people should be accepted into the site. Whether furries or anything else disgusts individual members is neither here nor there, my opinion (not that it matters) is if a site is about inflation then besides legal (read 'involving consenting adults') considerations, if it about inflation it belongs, end of.

Recently I heard from a furry friend of mine that his story was rejected because it was a furry story. This made me re-think the reason I don't see many furries here; they've been ignored or recieved bad welcome, as with Jockbull. If at least 2 positives outvote their negatives, I will take this to LutherVKane and show him what large a part of inflationism furries are and ask for better treatment of furries. It's all in the name of diplomacy. If it doesn't work, furries [and balloonies, google it if you don't know] will have a special area in my site where they can go and be free of the haters' insults, moderated by me. Please vote and pm with why you chose what you did. One of my efforts to support diversity and make the Web a Hate-Free Zone. [Site coming for that, too, with donation bin to pay those less-charitable mods and admins toiling to keep the peace at my Hate-Free Sites.]
