Some of the movies and TV shows that people cite as inspirations, like Son of Flubber, or Looney Tunes, or even Willy Wonka are pretty old. It makes me wonder if there were people who had an inflation fetish when these things first premiered. So I'd like to know how far back does inflation fetish go? What is the earliest decade that someone discovered they had an inflation fetish? The 1960's? 1950's? Even earlier?

I think it was 1976. Some girls at school were playing a game where a massive blood transfusion caused one of them to inflate. I sometimes wonder if one of them has an inflation fetish today.

like 1999-2000 ish I was 13 or 14 at that point I was already well aware that I loved big tits. I was on some old morph website with lots of pictures of women with their boobs morphed bigger. I came across one where I woman had a vaccume slid into her vagina it was a picture seaquence where her boobs were getting pumped bigger. That's how I first got into it and I've been hooked ever since lol.

Honestly, I'm pretty young, bout 18, goin' on 19. I discovered my fetish at around 12, so a while back. But before that, anything that involved someone inflating made me feel uncomfortable, and at 11 I was searching how to inflate clothing [to no avail] and at 12, how to inflate my belly [to much greater avail, although I thought the method dangerous. Then a comment came up using the word fetish. I looked into it further and BAM, there were the answers to the questions I didn't even know I was asking.

In the early 90's, I remember seeing Willy Wonka for the first time and being fascinated with Violet's inflation. I was really young then, maybe 5 or 6. A few years later, around the time when a boy becomes a man, I realized that my fascination was more than a fascination, but it was around 2003 or 2004 when I found Inflate123's site, an the world began to make sense.

Sometime in the early 70's, when Willy Wonka was on. I was just a little kid, but it effected me greatly. It was never a sexual thing then. Back then, I even loved male inflation scenes- now they disgust me. Maybe when I was 10 or 11, I saw The Bliss of Mrs. Blossom on TV. Now, THAT was sexual.

It started young for me with storybooks and cartoons in the early 1960's. I had it before the first Wonka movie but it really kicked in with Violet.
I suspect the fetish has been around a lot longer. There have been many inflation scenes on the screen even back into silent movies. I have found inflation type cartoons that date back into the 1800's and late 1700's. The advent of hot air balloons inspired a lot prior to 1800. Plus at least by the mid 1800's there were rubber inflatable cushions so it wouldn't have taken much a leap for someone to stick one under and shirt or blouse and for someone to get a thrill from it. My point isn't that every cartoonist or authur who created an inflation work has the fetish but I'm sure that it might have connected for some fans in a sexual way even way back in time. I can't imagine that there is anything very new in human nature except that people are more open about such things these days. an interesting topic.

Growing up all throughout the 90s and watching some cartoons with inflation, old and new, pretty much planted the seeds for me. When I got a little older this pretty much turned from a weird fascination into a weird turn on, and in the early 00's I discovered this site, as well as the local expansion community on deviantArt, so the rest of that story is where I am now.

My inflation fetish dates back to the early 70's and only became stronger. Being exposed to so many old-timey cartoons of characters being inflated or fattened, I found myself being let down when not all of them ended in a bang when they were punctured (deflating and flying about like a balloon did nothing for me).
