Unexpected Day, The

 

 

It was 2 days before 'freedom day' a day in which earth celebrated our victory over an alien colony that tried (and succeeded) to take over earth 25 years ago. 

 

The aliens had control of our planet for 3 years before we took it back and sent them packing. It's well documented in tv shows and history books. 

 

I'm Brad I'm 23, so I don't remember the battle for earth but I've read all about it. In the year 2020 earth made contact with another species, there were celebrations around the entire planet, everyone was so excited, that was until the aliens took up the invitation to come to earth. 

 

Around 30 UFO's landed in some of the worlds most famous and populated cities, the aliens were only around 3 feet tall and had shiny grey skin. Once all the ships had landed, and the aliens had taken their positions, they pointed up to the sky and their fingers started to glow, most of the world was either looking at them in person or watching the tv, a bright light and a shock wave blasted from their fingers around the world via the tv cameras, people who saw the light reacted in different ways, most of them inflated in seconds, turing into giant balloons! men, women and even children turned into helpless distorted balloon characters, they didn't pop however, they just all floated away like helium balloons! others simply passed out which at the time  led them to think they were immune to the alien attack.

 

Those who didn't see the attack became earths only defence, a war quickly broke out between the aliens and those who didn't get inflated, it took many years and most of earths population, but eventually humanity prevailed, and the aliens that were still alive left the planet.

 

In the years that followed, the people who saw the light but didn't inflate, started to show signs that they had in fact not been immune to the aliens, those who were exposed to the light found their children had unique powers, they could be inflated without any apparent danger, their skin could just stretch and stretch. The children didn't appear to be any danger to the planet, so they were just carefully monitored. 

 

Anyway that was years ago now, but it does start to  explain how I became an inflation policeman. As u may expect with humanity, we developed a way of making money from these 'inflatable human beings' there were thousands of them and a massive black market opened up with people betting millions of pounds on who's balloon could inflate the biggest! Making it unsafe for those who have this skill, people were being kidnapped every minute, they would then be trained to be able to take more and more volume, of course everyone had a limit, and would eventually explode. 

 

The problem got so big the government eventually had to create the inflation police to protect those from abduction, and also shut down the black market gangs. My job was to find  intel on meetings where an inflate-off was happening, shut it down and then arrest the ring leader. I didn't mind, it was almost the dream job as I had a fetish for body inflation, though I kept my secret well! 

 

Back in the lab the government was developing a gel that if ingested would make the person inflate much like the special ones could, it was being made using some of their  DNA, and was showing promising signs. Once a ring leader was found guilty he or she would become our test subject, they would be inflated to within an inch of exploding to see how they liked it, there was no way of reversing the inflation, but it would naturally wear off over about 10 years, during this time they would be placed in a secure room, not because they may escape they were too helpless for that, but it's believed the gel may be a risk to others around.

 

I was out scouting around a warehouse I had been tipped off as being an inflate-off venue, I saw Greg, and then Lyndsey, they were husband and wife but more importantly 2 of the most notorious ring masters in the underground inflation scene, something must be going on I thought, and if I could take these 2 down it would be a massive victory for us, I called in for back up and once they arrived we stormed the place, true enough there were several vastly inflated women there, it seems they were being primed for a competition. We arrested both of them, their trial was quick they were both found guilty and sentenced to 10 years of prison by inflation.

"What are you doing?" I ask the assistant  

 

"Nothing is being overridden" she says frantically pushing buttons

 

"Close it!!!" I shout

 

But it's too late I smell the gel oozing from Lynsey's breasts,
