I don't think we would necessarily have one, I mean we're a community of people with similar sexual interests, but we don't have the same sexual interests, and we all found different routes into it. It just so happens that there was one way a large enough minority here have in common for it to be worth remarking, if there never was that film then there would probably be no character who was especially popular among any of us.

This, is sad haha. Violet is seriously the only decent inflation any of us can think of and it wasn't even for the fetish (I think) We have to start advertising this fetish or something

I don't think we'd have a "Patron Saint of inflation" if it weren't for Violet. Roald Dahl wasn't filling a void when he created Violet. He made an iconic character who just happen to scratch a particular itch among that small slice of the population with this peculiar interest.
Her prominence within the community is a function of her popularity outside of it. There have been plenty of other inflation scenes, but none have anywhere near the same level of mainstream notoriety. Violet Beauregarde commands far greater name recognition than Marge Dursley, Burdine Maxwell, or Hector Savage. As such, none of them would be able to fill her shoes.

Yeah, Violet is the crowning scene for this fetish I'd say, no question. Although if I had my say, after that would be the All That Randy Quench scene (very underrated). I know I'm not in concurrence with the people who said the Aunt Marge scene would be up there. The effects were great, but the actress is far too unattractive (at least for me) to do anything for me, unlike Violet who was.

Hmm...I would put forth Josie from "Josie & the Pussycats". Iconic character, not too old (like Aunt Marge) or too young (like Violet) and again, a very early instance of mainstream female inflation innocently geared toward a young audience as a sight gag.
That being said, I'm a total diehard Violet fan (1971) which is what imprinted itself on me in the first place.

^that Josie scene is a definite runner up for me. Great character design attractive wise, but the only thing that doesn't make it a winning scene for me is that it's clothing inflation. Idk why, but that ruins it slightly for me. If that hose was in her mouth...instant favorite.

My first experience with getting excited (was too young to be sexually excited) about inflation was Tom and Jerry cartoon. One in particular was "Muscle Beach" that had several inflation/floating scenes. Very memorable for a kid.

It's funny how I've never seen this scene! And I know exactly how it plays out! I think it was like destiny… If this character never came to be another character would've filled her inflated mainstream shoes.

Nor do I have any idea who any of these characters are! Except for Bambi… I hate her ass… on camera at least. Obviously I didn't know her in real life…
Hm. My closest guess is Aunt Marge, but I'd like to think that there are better options out there.
