I used to only like male inflation, but I quickly ran out of good materal and sort of started to like female inflation, mostly out of despration for something inflation related. Most recently I've been getting back into male inflation, and I would have to say the idea of a really confidant guy suddenly inflating in front of a lot of people is a massive turn-on. Both ways. Over time I've discovered that while IRL I'm a straight male, this tends to be completely overridden by inflation if there's enough of it. But then this has only gotten stronger over time, so that's probably why.

This is really one that's not gonna be balanced well. We already see that there's little male inflation out there, because fewer people are interested in it. I could argue about gender roles (males typically seen as dominant, female is typically submissive, translating to male inflators and female inflatees), but whatever. (I will add that some male inflation does flip that, which is cool.)
Most likely your sexuality plays a role. I happen to be a gay man and like males as the inflatees, and prefer them as the inflators, too. But I know I'm a small part of the whole fetish group.
I have wondered if maybe the dom/sub thing might play a role. I have a friend who has a lot of transformation fetishes, identifies as bisexual, and maintains that he would be the one doing it to others, never to himself, while I wouldn't mind being the object...

This is something I've been thinking about a lot, since I'm asexual, and nothing, and I mean nothing turns me on more than thinking of someone, mostly anyone, but i'm partial to guys, blowing up like balloons. I don't like anything sexual with it, IE, genitals getting into the mix. Then the whole gender thing comes into the mix, where I don't identify as either really anymore... I have tried it a few times myself but I never find the right moment as I am barely home alone(and I currently don't own any stuff). Old topic is old, but eh, since it's here anyway. I'm a fan of both honestly. I'm geared more toward's female based inflation, but I can enjoy male to.
Im really into female inflation, and female inflation only. Male inflation is a big turn-off to me personally (but i dont have any problems with people who like it).
