Went to an inflatables panel at a furry convention....

That was, without a doubt, one of the most fun things I've ever done in years. All I can say is that if there is ever one near you and they are showcasing suits, you owe it to yourself to go see at least that.

I went to an inflatables panel at a furry convention....and I'll never again miss another one.

How's the level of interest for creating a convention with members of this site? There are a few of us who'd like to go to conventions, but can't. Maybe we could come up with a place which works for the majority or at least the majority of whomever wants to go and hold it every International Inflation Day? Hell, there are over 1000 members on this site alone. There might be something to that.

Did you follow "Sizecon" at all?

Yes. From your response I must have missed something. From what I read, it looked like most people couldn't go because they didn't have enough money to. My suggestion was to create a convention which was more convenient and financially viable for members of this site and one that was built around this site. There are a few threads on sizecon, so maybe I missed the one(s) you were thinking of.

No offence to this site, but it is now really small and in no way has the size to hold a con on it's own. Plus, I think having a con focused on size rather than a sub-category of that was a terrific idea, and they hosted it in NYC because it was local for them.
