just saw this today! I'm personally not really into male stuff, but I can't help but be sort of jealous.. Even a nice little sound effect to go along with it. No gore that I noticed, but soda and fizz..

Open for business...

If only they got the girl from the beginning, she looked pretty great.

I think I've had too much...

Still won't salvage my thoughts on the movie. May go see it now, Probably won't.

Lucky male inflationists, they even got the one in the upcoming Harry Potter movie.

I know when to leave the theater now briefly/stuff my face in my popcorn.

Thanks for the warning. I still wanna see the movie but just not yet another male inflation scene while females get discriminated again because "it's funnier with males hurr hurr"

Inflation in the new Harry Potter movie?

...Care to elaborate for us?

Yonder

Only because i'm a generous guy, as much as it pains me to type it.

Essentially, Cedric Diggory gets hits with an engorgement charm from Albus (Harry's son) when he goes back to the past to try and prevent his death. Cedric inflates like a balloon and flies into the sky...

That was in the book. There is a movie coming out I believe and the scene is too prominent to be avoided.

Enjoy once again you lucky male inflationists lol. It's your year apparently.

Thanks for the info but knock it off with the passive-aggressive comments.

I'm too intruiged to leave it at this. Does clothing rip, and does he make it back down?

safaristeve29

That's from the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play that just came out, not Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them which is opening in November.

Yonder

Yeah it's from the Cursed Child. There's literally no detail except the announcer saying "he's inflating like a balloon and floating away!" Since its in script format.

inflationpurveyor

Right, but they're not making a film of that.

Yonder

It's Harry Potter, the money printing franchise.

They will. They really will. That's not really a debate.

Harry Potter is huge! There is a slim chance that Cursed Child doesn't become a movie. At the very, very least, we should be getting an actual novel version of the story, rather than just a script format like we have right now. I did end up getting the script, and its not bad. The inflation scene itself is about half a page long, and the majority of it is the announcer explaining what's happening XD

As someone who likes male and female inflation, I honestly don't think you have much to be jealous of. Inflation in films is almost universally played for laughs, so no attention whatsoever is paid to making it work from a fetish angle. And this actually ends up being a bigger problem when it comes to male inflation for one main reason.

Male characters are, on average, less attractive than female ones, because female actors are more often judged by their looks. This means that there's a better chance of a female inflation subject being attractive than a male inflation subject. Off the top of my head, the only unattractive female inflation subject that I can think of in live-action media is Aunt Marge from Harry Potter. Meanwhile, I can't think of a single attractive male inflation subject in live-action media.

So while there may be more live-action male inflation scenes than live-action female inflation scenes on the whole, I'd say that more of the female scenes are enjoyable from a fetishist perspective. In my own opinion, the only ones that are really any good are Violet's scenes in the two Chocolate Factory films.

Hi, I'm new here. Now I have dealt with a situation sort of like this on the Cartoon Fatness wiki. Now Yonder, just because there is more male inflation then female doesn't mean it's the end of female inflation, heck there is more female expansion in Anime then there is in cartoons.

Yonder

Anime is alright, but it tends to be very restricted in what size the female gets unlike a cartoon that implements many different forms of inflation like sucking up a lake, bike pump in mouth that is usually reserved for males. Females usually just get bloated bellies at most in anime, whch is decent but not amazing like some of the most memorable inflation scenes. I mean, heck, the show with a very cute girl in it with an inflatable body didn't even make it into production [Hood]. That chapped me so much [hell it looked good too as a show, yet garbage like Breadwinners makes it out there?]. At least George of the Jungle gave us some alright female belly stuffings.

Live action gets the massive budget and hollywood production so inflation scenes tend to be a bit better in those too then an average youtube user can fabricate. Again, the good ones and most commercials usually reserved for males [with the exception of Willy Wonka].

So that's why I get a bit chapped at times, apologies. When your last big, good female inflation scene on the big screen was back in 1971 [as in a new idea being created, 2005 Wonka Violet was incredible but albeit a remake], it wears on you, thinking "when are we ever going to get another good scene?" Meanwhile, I can list several male inflation scenes in movies that would qualify as well done off the top of my head [Space Jam, Monty Python, 007, Airplane I think it was, the one with the fire hydrant hose... etc]

Dont waste money on movies that still think the 'Drunk Injun' stereotype is still funny...
