Although the 1971 version is a classic will be forever cemented in inflation history, the 2005 version is my favourite, I like how Violet jiggles with every move and the fact her belly is exposed. The moaning, groaning and sloshing sounds she makes adds to it as well.

The 2005 version hands down, As both an inflation scene, And as a scene in general. Turned the overall creepiness up to eleven and ran with it.

Choosing between honest suit-inflation of 1971 and computer-drawn suit-inflation of 2005 - I choose the real thing. 1971 ^_^

BUT! I'd rather vote for the third choice - honest CG. Refrain from small details that distinguish porn from family movie - and you're in green. Let her curves swell without becoming a ball. Even berries have bumps, what's wrong with retaining shapely bust and back ^_^

Why they didn't go for it in 2005 is beyond me, considering Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with unforgettable Aunt Marge was released in 2004

1971 hands down, because although the 2005 version involved props she is mainly CGI and I don't like inflation making people taller. More than that though, in the 1971 version Denise Nickerson got into an inflatable suit and was pumped up for real and you can't beat that. You see what happened on screen - direct connection.

The 2005 scene looked really well. But the scene haddent had the the bit more darker tuned. In the 2005 movie the inflation was more a party than a dreadfull side-effect.

The way how violet was rolled away in the old movie was nicer to.

And my last point. In the classic the body inflation was simpeler, the 2005 was a bit to big.

And boom goes the inflatee

Never saw 2005, so I'll have to stick with 1971.

2005, no doubt. Not only is the result undeniably more impressive, but I think the CGI looks perfectly believable. More believable than the suit. The suit definitely has a more solid presence, but it doesn't look at all like there's actually a body swelling up under there. Also, it has always bothered me that 1971 Violet becomes sort of oblong, instead of completely round. I think the 2005 version has definitely eclipsed the 1971 version in terms of influence, too. The idea of an inflatee having their extremities get sucked into divots in their increasingly spherical body is taken for granted now, but I think the 2005 inflation was what popularized it.

Prior to that, I think Chuck Jones had a lot to do with the popularization of extremities getting sucked into the body.

I really enjoy both, each has elements that I enjoy. 1971 version has great dialogue and the belt pop. 2005 version has the size and different angles of the inflation. If I had a gun to my head I would probably pick the 1971 version just because I saw it first and it's what got me into this kink.
