I've been debating whether this would be inflation related or not since it has more to do with everything but the people turning into balloons. The show is an anime and obviously aimed at kids. The video has closed captioning if you want to somewhat understand what they are saying.

At the 18:30 point of the video, one of the main heroes imagines his crush quickly inflating and pops.
I don't know too much about the context of the show other than the fact that the shows villian has the ability to turn various things into beasts. The heroes also must not reveal their identity or they will be turned into dogs. The villian ends up turning a balloon into a beast with takes the form of a pump. The beast basically can pump air into anything and make them bigger or more specifically turn them into balloons.
