How would an inflatable suit float on water? Video inside

Greetings everyone, wanted to share a video I had the pleasure of filming a couple weeks ago. I've always wanted to be filled with air and see how floating on water would feel, but since that isn't possible, I tried it in my suit instead:

Some notes: I had my back touching the water but there was more than enough air to keep my sides and tops above the water. The suit can shift around a bit with a lot of movement but for the most part it remains balanced out around the body.

Oh that's your channel? I've done this too a few times when my wife and I hired a holiday home with private pool, not in a fox suit, just a standard inflatable catsuit. I found it quite fun. I wouldn't have been as brave as you to do it in a more public setting though.

I also have wondered what it'd be like to be filled with air and floated in the water, and done the next best thing: I own a drysuit, and those are amazing for inflation. I've had many a late-night session, floating in a pool, my suit fully inflated. So incredibly relaxing...

Thank you for your near-sacrifice of your suit. That moment of all the air fwoomping into the leg was a great visual example of what a cartoon character (or a cartoon character's suit) blowing up with just the hands and feet poking out.

Thanks for all the positive input everyone! To answer some responses:

It was at a hotel pool, but I wouldn't be opposed to doing it in a public place. I haven't asked because I don't think it would get past the lifeguards, plus I'd need a couple friends to be on board with it too.

Oh nice! I've been curious to try a drysuit but they are veeeery pricey. Kudos to owning one!

Thanks dude! I tried to get some good angles but all I had was my phone so I was using towels and stuff. I try to shoot 60 FPS whenever possible!

Yeah that definitely made my heart stop for a second lol. But I'm super glad I got that on camera so people could see what happened. It actually heated up so much from the stretch I could feel my leg get hot briefly!
