When did you become a Bodyinflation fan?

I dont know really. I think it started surfing the internet really.

For me, ironically, it didn't start with "Willy Wonka."

When I was little, I remember blowing up some balloons with a bike pump and then wanting to blow myself up with the pump. When that failed I gave up and I moved on. As a kid I watched stuff like "Inspector Gadget" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

It wasn't until some point when I was about sixteen that my fascination with inflation resurfaced and my focus shifted to women. Then I found Inflate123's site, when he had the Vault, and I went to the sites in links page. Things just developed from there.

TMI: I'm pretty sure for me it was a direct result of a lot of medical testing I went through as a kid (6-8 yrs old) when they were trying to fix a bladder condition I was born with. Session after session of taking an entire bag of solution in through a catheter. I remember watching cartoons in the years just following and making associations between things like Goofy blowing up like a balloon, and the sensations from those damned tests, and being fascinated by it even though I was very uncomfortable with it. I suppose years and years of fiercely repressing it and trying to deny that I was fascinated with it only made it worse.

While I'm not 100% sure if Inspector Gadget was THE genesis of the fetish, it certainly played a big role. A paticular episode was where some female character got her angel suit inflated. Seeing her costume bulge up and carry her away helplessly in the air yelling for help sparked something. Since then I've been a member of the weirdo club :P

I too prefer inflatable clothing over others, but body inflation works too.

For me, I don't really know. As a kid I guess I had a bit of a fascination with inflation, can't recall any specific cartoons or films besides the ones already mentioned. It really materialized once I discovered that there were other people with my same fascination and material and content became available online.

Thats a tough one for me, there wasn't really an "awaking point". If there was, I don't remember it. It was a slow and subtle change for me (not like my affinity for Princess Jasmine :P )

Wow! This is a toughie. I think it happened for me in different stages. Like many others, when I was a child I was fascinated with movies, shows and cartoons that involved weight gain or inflation. It didn't dawn on me to question why I liked them more than other shows.

In my teen years, I occasionally experimented with stuffing (food or water) to get that over-full feeling and to watch my belly expand. Since this was also the period that I, like nearly every other girl, was under the greatest pressure to be thin; it remained my guilty little secret.

As an adult, it wasn't until I stumbled on sites like this one that I realised there is a whole lot of others that share this quirk with me. :D

My fetish kicked off when I was about 5. I saw Wonka and had a dream about it that very night. That changed to a pregnancy fetish for years, as I didn't thionk I'd ever find something like it again, until I first got onto the internet and found the story 'Toys' by Sievert. I did a search for 'body inflation' and found Luthers' origional site.

Like a lot of folks I though I was the only one with such a strange facination for years. But Mr Kane was very nice and explained that I wasn't the first and wouldn't be the last. Thank god for the internet! It was also nice to be able to put a bit back into it by sharing my fantasies with others.

I had a dream when I was about two years old. It's my earliest memory. It was of me as a balloon. When I saw Wonka, things just clicked.

Online, some 20 years later, it was when I met Sievert in Usenet that things got really interesting. :)

Started out when I was thirteen-ish, or so. Somewhere around that point I'd seen the movie "Merry Andrew" where one of the characters was in a clown ringmaster outfit that started overinflating on him while he was in front of the crowd, much to his dismay. He ended up floating up to the ceiling, only to be shot down by a midget dressed as cupid. (I never said it was a good movie...)

If you've suffered through reading the few works of mine online, you can probably sense the theme. Also translated nicely to divesuits and rubber outfits. Just had that inflating 'squeaky' noise to 'em, y'know?

I don't know what it was that really sparked it, this one scene from a video game just stuck with me, even when I'd forgotten what it was from(I eventually found out it was from Little Ninja Brothers for the Nintendo). It was this part where you're at a town where all the food's been taken by the mayor, and you go to see him to see what's the deal. He offers some food, and you eat until you pass out. When you wake up, you're in a prison with a bunch of fat people who're being fattened up to be eaten.

It's always been there with me, it seems like I was born with it. One of my earliest memories was myself stuffing my clothing with packing peanuts. I would also feel very giddy/excited to see an inflation scene on television. But sometimes it was frightening. The kind of bite your blanket as you're watching frightening. That's what the Violet scene was for me. She might pop!

I would stuff myself fat and often imagining myself inflating in different situations. But this all faded away into the forgotten when I was about ten.

When I was about fourteen, there was this girl in my gym class that really caught my attention. She had a huge butt and awesome breasts. A real exaggerated hourglass figure. At fourteen!! This caused me to look more into this online. I couldn't approach her! That's when I found Chelsea Charms. I stuck with the big boobs for awhile.

I came across this one time-lapse animation of growing breasts when I thought about inflating them. I tried a search online of inflating boobs, and I came across Inflate123's site, and then I was reminded of the awesomeness that was body inflation, and that made it a sexual fetish.

Oddly enough, I can't point out any particular movie scenes or incidents from when I was a kid. But I can always remember dreams and fantasies about girls whose breasts and/or bodies inflated since my early teens or so. Much later, I found some Helia Melonowski stories, then Wren's old website, which led me to Inflate 123, Luther V Kane, and the rest of the great ones on the Internet. I've dabbled in writing a few stories and posted them on the Overflowing Bra site; they're all based pretty much on ideas I've had since I was a kid. I always thought I was just weird until I saw how much this community has grown in the last few years. Still, I've been mostly a lurker... :wink:

I dunno when it actually "clicked" for me. Maybe it was when I started keeping an archive of all the inflation stuff I could find... or when I started drawing it... ^^;
But I've been into Transformation before (shrinking, giantess kinda stuff) when I was about 9. Yup. I was always very "mature" for my age. :lol:
At the time I was reading El Goonish Shive quite freqently, and visit'd The Minimizer's webpage often, rading stores, looking at pictures... (I was smart enough to stay away from the naughty stories :) )
but I guess I think I realized I was obessing over it when I started getting these crazy-ass dreams. I think I got freaked out of my Shrinking obession when I read one of the nuaghty stories by accident (wrong rating by admin or I didn't look...) and I was basically stunned. I couldn't get why I liked it anymore after that. Somehow, 3 years after that, I started liking Anime girls. I read this manga called Love hina, and I liked the girls. 'Specially naru. She's cute. and got long hair. ^^
I think the first inflation art I saw was SarboruX's art, when I was searching on DA for "neko" (I did a google cheater way of searching w/o subscription). I dunno why I liked the big bellies at the time, neither do I know now. But, his page link'd to another artist's page, and another, and another... and basically that's the story. It's been about a year since I realised I've had this fetish, but I don't care. I like it!
The only thing that bothers me is that my family doesn't know. I dunno if my friends suspect it, but whenever I draw girls in school, I can't seem to stop myself from drawing larger boobs than normal (not HUGE, but bigger than average), and any guy looking over my shoulder might make fun of me for drawing Anime, or comment on her big boobs.
