I was wondering, lacking a place to register and only a sign in for the site, has registration been closed? I cannot find a place to register and I would like to. I don't visit often enough but I'd like to be a contributor. Could some one fill me in on this?

I tried to register yesterday and I still haven't recieved a confirmation email. What gives?

Three possibilities:
1) The mail server is being flaky. It's like that.
2) The confirmation email was caught by your spam filters. This happens a lot.
3) There was a typo in your email address. This happens a lot as well.
Registrations have to be confirmed within 24 hours, or the server deletes them. If you haven't gotten your comfirmation email in 24 hours, then just re-apply. Actually, you should probably try again after a few hours. You only need to wait a full day if you want to use the name you originally tried to register under.

Yesterday I've tryed to register, but I still haven't recieved a confirmation email.
The Mail is'nt in the spam-filter and I didnt use special Types in the Adress.
Will the Mail come exactly 24h after the registration?

Mail server was offline while I was away for a few days. It's back up and runing now.
The email is sent pretty much immediately. If it hasn't arrived within an hour, odds are something's gone wrong. You can try to register again immediately under a different name, or after 24h under the same name.

Do you want no new members?
Click the My Account link in the Main Menu. Under the word "Nickname" there's a link "New User Registration". You can register through that link.
