Let's face it folks, this ain't art. Yes some talented people work very hard at it, but we're really talking porn aren't we? The real reason we come to these sites is because we get off on it. You know I can honestly say that I have yet to jerk off to anything on this site. Not to say I haven't jerked off to some breast expansion related stuff just nothing on this site. I mainly come to this site for the forums really I like having other people to talk to about expansion related stuff. I think it has possibilities outside the realm of being a turn-on. For instance, i know there used to be travelling shows with people practicing belly inflation and plavini and other belly inflation kriyas in Yoga exist for the purposes of Yoga rather than eroticism. I also think it's technically interesting and there are all sorts of non-sexual implications. For instance, it really bugs me that there's such scepticism on Wikipedia about this and i think that's significant in a Fortean sort of way. The "establishment", or whatever the dominant users on Wikipedia are, just seem incredulous, which raises the issue of what else happens which is in the outer darkness simply by virtue of incredulity. And i don't mean sexual stuff, i mean stuff like frog falls or X-Files-type phenomena.

So no, it's not just porn or even erotica. It's a whole lot more than that, though even if it were just that it'd be valuable.

Art is the eye of the beholder. I'm pretty sure even porn producers consider their product 'art'. I think people try to put to much emphasis on defining things instead of just enjoying it for what it is to you.

It could be art but it also could 'wank' material for you.

It depends what you call 'art'. It may never hang in an art gallery and it may be based on a whole different set of values to fine art; but I'm sure when anthropologists in 20,000 years time come across it, they'll label it as art and study it as such.

Art is anything that brings about an emotional response. Last I checked, sexual desire is an emotional response. So, yes, I would consider many of the drawings and stories on this site as art. Maybe not something you would find in the Louvre or the Library of Congress, but art nonetheless.

What the heck is starfish porn?
I think to further my point, there seems to be quite an age spread amongst us. I, for one saw the original Star Wars movie at the theatre. But I'm afraid there may be much younger impressionable members and am afraid they are going to hurt themselves trying something they see or read here. I'd really hate for that to happen. Youtube has all kinds of people doing frightening things with hoses and pumps they shoudln't be, I don't think they recognize body inflation as outside the realm of the possible and existing soley within the mind. If body inflation were to exist as an artform, then people wouldn't be able to attempt it in real life. They are free to role play, but keep the aquarium pumps out of it.

Well that depends on whether you load the term 'art' with added conditions such as 'it must not be for sexual gratification' and 'it must make a statement about society'.
