A lot of you are so fucking insecure. People make fun of shit they think is janky, and if you're internalizing whatever they say, you need to sort out your priorities. The sooner you learn that you don't have to (and literally can't if you try) please everyone, the better. People don't like what they don't understand, get used to it. You can't make everyone in this world lay out a red carpet in front of you wherever you go, it's just not gonna happen.
So if you wanna be happy with yourself, don't worry about "making yourself look good" to other people. Would you be friends with a dude who hates you for your sexual interests? Of course not, so why do you need to impress him? Do you talk about it IRL? Of course not, unless you're 100% sure they're open-minded about fetish shit. People get uncomfortable talking about normal sexual shit casually for fuck's sake. Talk about it all you want here, since we're all into this and we get it.
I mean for fuck's sake, half the reason I don't like to talk with you people much is for that reason alone. You've got this hugbox mentality where nobody can step on everybody's toes. It seems nice on paper, but in practice it means people get stupidly passive-aggressive and act like fucking tools. Just be straightforward and honest. Literally who gives a shit? Don't be a dumbass and link your sexual kinks to your Facebook or some shit, and nobody's ever gonna dox you. People who act like this end up like Dobson, and he's a jackass even by cartoon fetish standards. People look down on furries for the same reason: they all have fragile egos and flip their lids over the smallest slight. We aren't children anymore, your mom or dad's not gonna fucking beat you if you don't lick their boots every time you greet them.

FYI, I am not bothered by the comments made by people like them. I share it because having another point of view is interesting to me. I already know what I do, and enjoy doing what I do, and I have a lot of great friends in the community as well. Nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever ^w^
