Bulb Pump for Belly Inflation

Does anybody know where I can either buy or get the stuff to make a bulb pump? I've always used an aquarium pump for inflating my belly and would like to try something different. Anything helps! Thanks!

Camera dust blower bulb?

I think you can just buy a bulb pump. Though I wouldn't know exactly which department that would fall under, I'm almost certain that you don't actually have to build your own.

I can probably find something at a hardware store or somewhere. Thanks for the feedback though.

eBay is your friend. Look for blood pressure bulb or inflator bulb.

I would just have to find the right sized tubing for it

Pneumatic Fanatic

I've made a lot of these devices over the years.  You can get a bulb inflator for sports balls at the sporting goods store.  But don't start there, go to a cheaper store that would have a sporting goods department like walmart or any cheap store.  So when you find the inflator it usually has a valve on it just like a blood pressure device, and a pin for inflating the balls. Unscrew the pin and put it away til you need to inflate a ball.  See if the hose will connect to your device you use.  If not, you can buy flexible plastic tubing at a hardware store or home depot.   If you get several different sizes of tubing you can find ones that will stick firmly on the end of the inflator.  You can use several different sizes of tube stuck together to make adapters to get it to the right size you want.  The pulsing of the bulb feels different and is a good feeling.  You also have a little more control of the speed of the inflation.

Disregard, just saw the comment above.

Orig., "Alternately, just buy a blood pressure cuff (they're available in the aisles of pharmacies) or in the pharmacy section of Wal-Mart or wherever. Then just unplug the tube from the cuff. You can use it to pump up, and alternately release some pressure by turning the small knob. Just a recommendation."

Feroxodon

I bought one at a dollar store that is used for inflating a basketball. I just unscrewed the needle attachment, and put the tube in its place. The tube was a bit too small, but some duct tape did the trick. It works, but the pump isn't very powerful and takes too long to see any sort of bloat. I prefer using a hand pump used for inflating bike tires.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I currently use a standard aquarium pump (sometimes two if I'm trying to get bigger) and I was thinking about maybe using the bulb pump to steadily pump myself up while the aquarium pump does its job. Thanks again for all the feedback!

Hmm...never actually tried this idea. I wonder what it does...

I know using two electric pumps really does the job, so I guess a bulb pump should give the same results just at a slower rate? I guess

I used a camera cleaning bulb and a pressure meter one... Not for me. It takes forever.

The better way I found to inflate myself fully is with a floor bike pump. It pushes a large volume of air in every pump, but not at high pressure. Don't "seal" the connection :-P

If you have to let go some air, let it go. Just keep pumping. This way I'm able to inflate my intestines and stomach

Try watching a movie with the aquarium pump running. Don't watch anything remotely sexual or you'll miss out some parts of the movie :-D
