The morning sun shone through the blinds as Joyce stood in front of her bathroom mirror. Summer had come, and with it bikini season. She stood clad in her red bikini, running her hands over her body. An exercise regiment had done wonders in slimming her down, but it had also left her top a little less full than she liked. Joyce wasn’t at all disappointed however, as she had a talent for solving such problems.

Once they could be studied, it was found that the little machines Irene had been infected with were keyed only to her DNA and inside anyone else they stopped replicating after a few generations.  Without pumping out the helium, those infected will inflate almost as big as Irene does, though after a while they will deflate when the nanites cease to funtion.  A pump will aid in deflation or control the inflation.  To operate, the nanites require a lot of energy which they get from consuming adipose so those who are repeatedly exposed tend to slim down very nicely.

It's funny with Totally Spies. The show has more weird fetish moments then most other cartoon shows. Which is why we have Alex getting inflated from a scuba tank she got from Jerry. Apparently, she was given an air tank that inflates the user like a cartoon human balloon. Whoops.
