The office “holiday” party had been going on for over an hour. And although it was scheduled to run for at least another two hours, Charlotte didn’t think she could last that long. The introduction of alcohol into the party had caused her generally tolerable co-workers to become, well, less than tolerable. It had become painfully clear to Charlotte that at least a third of her co-workers were lightweights when it came to alcohol. On top of that, it was also clear to her as to what kind of drunks each of her co-workers were.

“Hurry up, I’m tired, not to mention pissed off at that juvenile delinquent boss of yours trying to give me seducing looks across the table”, said Cattie in the passenger seat next to her boy friend of one year Jeremy. “I don’t even understand why you bothered going to that stupid end of year gathering, yet alone drag me along with you”. “Party Cattie, that was a party….. well at least it was meant to be” quirked Jeremy with a slight smile gracing his face.

“Honey.. are you absolutely sure about this?”

Standing in the surf with water splashing at her ankles, she stares directly at me, her eyes indicating that she’s deadly serious about this.

“Of course I’m sure. I wouldn’t suggest it otherwise.”

“It’s just… it sounds pretty dangerous. And a little dodgy.”

“It’s not. Loads of people on the internet swear by it.”

“On the internet?” I scoff. “Now I’m less convinced.”

Dan Wong wasn't entirely sure how it had happened. He had gone over to his girlfriend's house, Susan Tani, to just chill for a while. Now Dane could admit that sometimes he wasn't the sharpest at times, but it certainly seemed like a good idea at the time. He took over with him a small valve of a project he had been creating for science class. While he lied on the couch lazily she was over at her DVD collection looking for a film to play. He decided to hold up the valve and say 'So how's your final project going?' she replied, 'Finals aren't for three weeks Daniel'.
